Atlantis –worth the stop, even if a bit slow

Atlantis is usually a dependable Tampa Bay spot with mostly Cuban dancers, fair prices, and a laid-back atmosphere. Wednesdays can be hit or miss. This visit was worth the trip, even though it was on the quieter side.

THE BASICS

It’s a smaller club with a relaxed neighborhood bar vibe and convenient parking. Once inside, the dance/VIP area is to the left. The dance section features bench seating with dividers for some separation. The VIP rooms offer better privacy. The main room includes a stage, bar, tables, and a raised seating area where many of the dancers tend to hang out.
