M/W at Vivide - dependable as ever

I spent two days here last week, on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon, both days arriving near 1:30 or so. At that time there was already a healthy group of ladies present (20ish) with more arriving as the afternoon wore on. Booth seats were easily available downstairs until 5ish when it started to get busy on Monday.

Vivide is on a major road, just off a gentrifying neighborhood. I did not park on the pavement this time, but rather around the corner of a wooden fence on the dirt lot (which is free, you just have to tell security that this is where you parked). Even though there was some random crap on the ground, I was in a rental and wasn't super worried about my tires. Additionally, last time I parked in the main lot I was in a corner, and couldn't get out without 30-40 in and outs as I had been parked in. The dirt lot was much easier to control.

Entrance was 10 bucks after a cursory frisk at the front door. Security was friendly. Upon entry you are on a balcony overlooking the main (lower) level of the club. It is brightly lit with neon everywhere, and a huge number of LCD screens on the walls downstairs usually showing seasonal graphics (beach today, I saw Christmas last time I was here) and a number of TVs showing sports. You walk to the left around a couple of closed up VIP rooms (I assume used during the evening hours) and down some stairs to get to the floor. There's a small stage in the middle of the club that I only saw one or two black dancers use during the 8 hours I was there, I am guessing it is mostly a "make it rain" type of thing during the evening.
