Hope on the Horizon

I have some history with this place. The present owner is the third since I started going, but my frequency is greater now than back then. I like it here because it is open during the day when it is easier for me to go and now because I know several of the dancers, past and present.

The parking lot isn't paved, but it has had gravel added and leveled over the years and the puddles keep getting smaller. They keep working on the building. Improvements are slow in coming, but it is not getting worse. There is a double door set up in the front and the inside door has a buzzer. If you hit the bell the bartender will either buzz you in or somebody (one of the dancers if you're lucky) will come and open the door.

Once inside there is a decent sized room with a pool table and assorted arcade games. The restrooms are toward the back of the room to the right of the bar. They aren't as awful as many that I have seen. They paneled the walls in the men's room with some creatively charred pallet boards. The ladies room has real drywall walls with some nice paint, lavender if I remember correctly.

(If you wonder how I know, I'll tell you, but it's not a juicy story.)
