Mid Week Evening at Haven's

After a few months, I found myself back in the area so I decided to swing by Haven's to see if thinks had changed and more importantly to try to find out if private dances are a thing there...

For those that haven't been, Haven is more of a local dive bar off Rt. 40 close to the city limits (conveniently 10 -15 minutes from Hopkins Bayview). As you walk in from the parking lot, to your left is a bar mostly running the length of the wall. Across from the bar are a small number of tables for the patrons. None were occupied as it appeared all the locals prefer to hang out at the bar. At the far end is a smallish stage were the dancers perform there 2-3 song sets. Overall the bar is not glitzy and definitely has a local hole in the wall vibe.

With the local vibe comes the biggest benefit of the bar .... affordable drinks. Domestic beers run $5, imports $6 and mixed rail drinks $10. The bartender is friendly and from memory will also perform on stage if they are low on dancers.
