Glass slipper is not worth it.
My good friend and I and his roommate decided to celebrate the roommates last night in Boston before he headed to his MBA program far away. So we went out, then we decided to go to the Glass Slipper more or less on a whim. We have been to many strip clubs around the world, and we were hoping that despite Boston’s lack of a scene, this could be cool as it’s been there for so many years. We were wrong unfortunately.
The place is very, very small, yet not intimate. There is a private room for dances, but it’s not truly private. My friend bought one dance with a very cute girl, but she was the only cute one in there. She had a girl next door look and was the only white woman, and the dance was $25. There were few people there even though it was midnight on a Friday. Drinks were expensive and the cover was $20. The talent was also very low, and only two women came to talk to us despite clearly being there to have fun and wanting to spend. We were dressed nicer than everyone in there as well. Needless to say but the Glass Slipper is not worth it, at least not on a Friday. We won’t go back. Centerfolds, the place next door, is not great either but it’s at least somewhat fun.
