Always a good time at vixens

Vixens Ybor, formerly known as Scarlets Ybor, has been a consistent stop for me on trips to Tampa, and overall it offers a fairly laid-back and low-pressure experience. The club feels relatively safe—I’ve visited multiple times and never encountered any issues or witnessed any real problems. Cover tends to be reasonable, usually around $10–$20, and like most places, there’s an expectation to purchase at least one drink.

Inside, the cleanliness is decent but not perfect. The main private dance area can sometimes have an unpleasant smell. That said, the private rooms are a noticeable step up—more comfortable and worth the extra cost. On one visit, I paid around $20 for a private session, though that may have been a promotional rate. The environment overall is pretty quiet; on a few weekday visits, I was actually the only customer there, which can be either a plus or a downside depending on what you’re looking for.

The dancers have consistently been polite and easygoing. I’ve never had a negative interaction, even when declining dances, which speaks well to the atmosphere. The lineup tends to lean heavily Cuban, though there is some variety. You won’t necessarily find top-tier “showstopper” talent across the board, but there are definitely attractive performers in the mix. The vibe is more approachable than high-end, which can make interactions feel more relaxed.
