Regular's Club with Identity Crisis
Been a long time regular at this place, and reviewing about my favorite time to go, Friday afternoons. No cover before 7 and the vibe on Fridays tend to be better, as the whole club anticipates the weekend crowd. Bartenders are always cool here, usually Tracy in the daytime. She runs a tight ship! But watch out for Becca...
L&L has a pretty wide variety of dancers: some brand new, some veterans, tall girls, big girls, Latina, White and African American and on afternoons you tend to see a handful. Weekend evenings can have upwards of 20. Occasionally this place gets packed. On those days, be comfortable being a wallflower or go after the girls you want attention from. It is largely a regular's spot.
Afternoons, though, girls are usually eating or on their phones until things pick up. Some will chat easily, some will immediately sell you on a dance, which are now $40 for a "3 minute" song. There is rarely anyone dancing on stage during the day. Find a spot at the bar or a table and look inviting. The ones worth the squeeze will come to you. I've mostly had misses on takeout but you can luck out with the right girl and the right proposal. The dancers all tend to be business-like, which can be a blessing and a curse.
If you like dive bar atmosphere with, for the most part, pretty half-naked women, then this is a good spot for you to check out. You can't be cheap though; be nice, be generous.
