I went to Paper Moon in Springfield and had a pretty mixed experience overall.

The cover charge wasn’t bad around $5 during the day and closer to $15–$20 at night. Drinks and food are definitely on the pricier side though. They actually have a full menu (not just bar food), with meals running roughly $20–$35.

Inside, the layout is what you’d expect from a typical club. There’s a main stage with seating around it, a bar area, and private rooms in the back. They try to go for an upscale feel with the lighting and setup, but it doesn’t always fully hit that mark.

The atmosphere really depends on when you go. Late night felt more crowded and a bit pushy in terms of people trying to get you to spend money.

As for dances, expect to pay around $20–$40 per song, and a lot more if you go into VIP easily $100+ depending on how long you stay. That’s where things can get expensive fast if you’re not careful.
