No Highlights at Hi Liter
This is a short review of my visit to Hi Liter on a Wed night couple weeks ago. I was in the club only for an hour between 10 and 11 PM before I couldnt take it any longer and headed out to Bourbon Street(BSC) for my second visit in 3 days.
First things first. Large parking lot with free parking. ID scan on entry (not a fan of this) and $10 cover. One center stage and bar on the right. Seating all around the stage. Girls do one song set, no one even went topless.
The guy who scanned my id asked me to put my chain inside my tshirt, a first for me. And another bouncer openly asked me if he can show me to a seat for a tip. Tipped him $2 for seating me. Corona was $6.
I counted numerous PLs and about 20-25 girls but over 15 were on their phones or talking amongst themselves. Believe it or not, one was actually napping right in front, by the stage. And later a bouncer had to boot off one girl to seat a customer. Are they not there to make money!!
I only got approached twice. First girl directly asked if she could dance. Her prices were $20 for table dances and $40 at the back behind the enclosed glass. Unlike BSC, these VIP spaces are bright and the action is clearly visible from the outside. She seemed very transactional and spoke limited English, so I passed. Another slightly hefty dancer approached after 10 min and I passed on her too for the same reasons. I also remembered reading table dances are only $10.
