Dean's is Still a Great Upscale Club

Dean's Gold was my favorite club when I was visiting the Miami/Lauderdale area for work. But it had been over seven years since my last visit so I decided to check it out.

I arrived about 10:30pm, paid $10 for parking and $20 cover. The physical layout of the club has not changed. As you enter the club you walk into the main seating area. There is a large elevated stage on your right, and beyond that an even higher stage up about 6 stairs. There is a bar just as you walk in, another up on the higher floor and one in the back right. Had a Corona for about $8-10 (wasn't really paying attention, so maybe not exact on that price). To the left of the main seating area is the lapdance area. I like Dean's because the place is upscale - clean, nice furnishings, and the dancers wear evening dresses.

My visit was a mix of enjoyment and disappointment. I was disappointed because Dean's has turned into another Cuban/Latin club. They used to have a lot of Central and Eastern European women - Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, etc. There was one tall blond dancer that looked to be from Russia, but she was a plastic surgery Barbie. Everything was enhanced - tits, ass, lips. She almost looked AI generated. Not my thing. Every other dancer I met was from Cuba or South America. Nothing wrong with Cuban/Latin dancers. I just like variety.
