Saturday Night Vibes at Vivide
Visited Vivide to end a Saturday night of drinking and socializing at other places in Atlanta and I wanted to try this club since I moved to the area. I left my car parked on Huff Rd. after leaving one of the bars there, but the club is a bit of a walk and you might feel safer paying for parking in the club's lot. Cover is $30 at night and you'll be patted down at the entrance. The venue is in a mixed use zone with warehouses, bars, and apartment blocks near by. The area seemed fairly safe, just not that well lit in stops.
The club's interior is old and outdated with chipped paint and faded carpet. The club has two floors with a bar on each level, bar chairs, couch seating, and VIP areas with curtains. It only has one pole on the lower level with some of the couchs surrounding it. Some of the girls did acrobatic tricks on it, while others just walked the floor talking to patrons. Anytime I found girl I liked, I had to initiate the conversation, but someone else may have a different take.
On the night I went, the patrons were pretty broad in race and age between black, latino, asian, and even a couple of older white guys. There were a handful of female patrons and couples too that were looking to party. I didn't notice to many sketchy characters around, but I would suggest minding your business when moving around the place. All the staff from the bartender, security, and manager were respectful and answered any question I had.
