Pleasantly surprised at Rick’s

Located in downtown area so parking isn’t easy. No cover before 8 pm, which is amazing. Feel like I’m already ahead. The doorman and girl were very friendly. The bartender was busy but quick with my drink. Beers were $6 and Jack and Coke $6. Cheapest prices I have seen since like 2010 anywhere.

I love the vibe here. Dark but not too dark. Very clean and nicely lit where it needs to be. The bathroom is clean. It’s classy. Nice chairs to sit in also. Clientele is mostly professional white collar. Definitely not a low class place with thugs. Music was just the right loudness. Talking was easy, but nobody could ever overhear our conversations either. And the music was a good mix, nothing ghetto.

Dancers are very nice. Very friendly and just the right amount of pushiness. $20 a dance and the touching depends on the dancer. Not full-on contact like in Dallas but on the hips, thighs mainly. I got a total of four different girls and three of them let me touch a little bit. Another one said if I wanted to touch all it would have to be in the VIP so I stopped at one dance. Not the best dances, especially me coming from Texas. But it did the job. I’ve been to the Rick‘s in Texas and there was definitely a lot more touching allowed there.
