Silk Exotic Madison Review
I’ve been going to Silk pretty regularly over the last couple of years (around 10-15 times). I’m a student living downtown Madison so it’s about a 20-minute drive, and it’s one of the more convenient options in the area if you don’t feel like going out of state.
The layout is pretty standard, main stage in the middle, bar along the side, and then rooms in the back. It gets crowded on weekends after midnight, especially Fri/Sat, but earlier in the night or on weekdays it’s a lot easier to move around and actually talk to people without feeling rushed.
Dancers:
Lineup is inconsistent but there are usually a few solid options every night. If you go often you’ll start recognizing regulars. Some are more focused on quick dances, others will actually sit and talk for a bit if you’re not being awkward. Definitely worth taking your time before committing to anything. Number of dancers working depends heavily on day and time and can range from 4-5 dancers to 20+. Since the lineup is a bit inconsistent, busier nights are almost always better than weekdays.
