A small hop at the Cricket

Stopped by an old favorite to kill a little time on Saturday. I arrived early (around 1pm) so there was no cover (i think the cover is $20 after 6PM plus a mandatory coat check, so plan on wearing a hoodie and/or leaving your jacket in your vehicle to save a few dollars. For those not familiar, Silver Cricket is a smaller club with free parking in a fenced lot. It feels a bit safer than some other spots, especially when the security truck is keeping an eye out.

It was pretty slow for a Saturday with only a handful of dancers. It was a nice change from my last few trips where they were pretty busy. I had a couple beers which set me back $20 including tip and thought about ordering food, but decided not to.

The dancers themselves were a mix of 6s and 7s. None of them really seemed interested in doing anything other than playing on their phone. A couple of the girls were nice though. Unfortunately none of the girls really grabbed my attention so I didn't get any dances. For those not in the know: There is a $10 charge to get to the VIP area and dances are $20 each. Make sure you set clear expectations on how many dances you want before you go to the VIP so you aren't paying the $10 charge to be disappointed.
