Sexy Vibes on Steinway

We didn’t get there until after midnight, thinking we might’ve missed the best part of the night, but the moment we walked in, it was clear things were just heating up. The place was on Steinway, which was actually a pretty nice spot—easy to get to with the highways just a few blocks away, making it convenient if you’re coming in from anywhere nearby. Inside, the energy was intense, with hip hop and Latin beats blasting from the speakers, the bass so heavy you could feel it vibrating in your chest. The crowd was mostly younger guys—dressed sharp, but with a laid-back vibe—definitely not the kind of crowd you'd find at an old man strip joint. There were over 20 dancers working the floor, mostly Latina women owning the stage. The main stage was in the center, surrounded by standing room and scattered seating, with a VIP section tucked off to the side. There was even a second bar, which definitely made grabbing drinks quicker.

The vibe was a lot more relaxed than I expected. The dancers weren’t pushy about tips, so you could actually enjoy the show without feeling pressured every second. It felt more like a fun night out with friends than something too intense or transactional. But there were a few things that could’ve been better. The ATM fee was ridiculous, and they also hit you with a fee just to break a $100 bill—another one of those hidden costs that felt unnecessary.

The drinks didn’t help either. For what you were paying, I expected something stronger, but what I got was watered down and weak. I ordered whiskey neat, and it barely had any kick to it. Same for the mixed drinks—way too sugary, like they were trying to mask the lack of alcohol. It was disappointing for the price.

The lap dance areas were another letdown. They were right in the middle of everything, with no real privacy, which made the experience feel more public than intimate. It felt like you were on display, and with the crowd always close by, it just wasn’t as comfortable as I imagined. Still, the place had a fun, energetic atmosphere overall, and while I’d be hesitant to come back solo—especially with the extra fees and lack of privacy—I could definitely see returning with a group of friends for a good time.
