No Frills But Good Deals

Reviewing my experience at Class Act.

First, location - kind of a shoddy urban, retail area that's not very well lit, but doesn't feel dangerous either. There's even a food truck outside that appears to be open only sometimes, and only when it's very late (past midnight). Enough parking, even on what appeared to be a busy night. I've been around 10pm and just midnight.

Venue - Kind of a no frills dive meets club imitation vibe playing almost entirely rap music from the 2000's. Bouncer is present but not overbearing, little makeshift table where you pay $10 entry fee. Drinks are semi expensive for the experience. A light beer is $6 - $7, a shot and mixer can run you $15+. There's 3 different seating arrangements, including what appears to be an open lap dance section behind weird plexiglass. It's not a very dark club throughout and feels more like a bar.

Bartender is efficient and that's about it. Crowd is rough around the edges but nobody bothers you. And the club allows smoking and vaping so it does get smoky at the bar.
