Time for a cellphone/social media ban

I finally think I’ve hit rock bottom here with the phones during the day shift. First off to appease the moderators - large purple box at the corner of two busy roads. No cover, $5 to $10 drinks, bathroom, a $20 communal room and two $30 privates.

Ok, so I walked in around 3pm, there was one other customer there and three girls - Genie, Eclipse and Choc. I stayed for about an hour and the original customer left and another came in. However, the entire time Genie and Eclipse had their heads down scrolling on their phones…and when I say heads down, I mean that literally - they were both sitting on opposite ends of the bar and were slouched over so that their faces were no more than 6 inches from their screens. Genie managed to hold this position for the entire hour, while Eclipse would switch chairs every 10 minutes or so. I’m not sure what the purpose of that was (maybe marking her turf?) but for a brief few seconds, she looked up, smiled at me and waved, and then the head went right back down!

At some point, Choc came over after hanging out with the manager and hit me up for a tip…which I politely declined…sorry, but I only tip for service. She eventually made it up to the stage for 1.5 songs…and when she came back, I happily tipped and then we headed to the communal room for a couple of songs.
