First time in years and first time on day shift

This place used to be my go to and I would be here every other month or so but that was 15 years ago. I think the last time I visited was about 2 years ago. I had gradually visited less and less, then covid happened. I checked it out after they reopened and after being disappointed a few times in a row I just stopped trying. I was in the area for something else and figured I would pop in and see if anything had changed.

I've never been during the day before. No cover. I set off the metal detector but the DJ just waved me through. Physical layout looks almost exactly like I remember except they seem to have walled off some extra VIP rooms downstairs in the back left. Maybe to make up for the loss of the rooms upstairs since the bartender told me "Fantasy Island" hasn't been open in years. Grabbed a beer (I think it was $10) and sat at the bar.

There were 5 dancers working and about 10 customers. Most of the girls were shacked up with what I assume are their regulars. The others sat at a table by the stage on their phones ignoring everyone and taking their turns to listlessly wander around the stage. Four of the girls were some variety of POC but it was impossible to tell what exactly in the super dim light. They all seemed average looking, not great but not bad, nothing that excited me.
