Had high expectations, the place didn’t quite make it

I visited Show Palace around New Year's . The place was silent, and the DJ wasn't entertaining either . I paid $20 as my cover and a further $5 as a tip, as the receptionist asked for it.

Upon entering, a couple of dancers approached me, asking for a private dance with both of them. I didn't find them attractive, so I waited for a girl I was interested in. I found her some time later. She told me she was from Miami. Then we went to the bar, as this club doesn't offer alcoholic drinks, she took an energy drink, and I took ginger ale. I paid around 30$ dollars here as well. That's a catch; you must order some drinks from the bar before getting the dances.
