C+ for Chula

Okay, here’s my third and final review on Tropical from my recent trip.

The Monday after the Super Bowl, Seven and I decided to hang out in Tropical for a little bit. The vibe was chill and laidback, which is how I like it. Seven and I each got a bottled water and sat down in a booth on the far side of the club (to the right when you enter). We had a few girls come over, and they wanted us to buy them fichas (drinks), but they didn’t look all that good so we politely declined and tipped them a few bucks.

There’s actually a strategy with doing this, according to Seven. He says if you rather not buy a girl a ficha, tip her three maybe four dollars and thank her. The reasoning is, for each ficha, the girls get a ticket that gives them $1, maybe $2 for each. Remember, fichas cost $11 in most of the ZN places these days. It makes sense because the girls could make money off tips instead of fichas. What do you guys think?
