I'm done with Scarlettes...Forreal this time

I've been trying to give this place a chance, and I visited it again because last time I was here it was GREAT! The big difference maker was the dancer I was with and the amount of dancers there, and also the manager. I'll explain in a bit. It's really hard to tell when it's busy here and every time I try to talk to people who work there it's a different story.

I came here on a Saturday night to watch a boxing match, it was 10pm, a little before the main event. It should be a little busy. It was not! The moment I walked in I was met by a "manager" and he starts looking at my pants and asks " have you been here before"? I said yes and he proceeded to tell me that there's a dress code and you can't have pants that have drawstrings...I was wearing jogger type cargo pants and they DIDN'T have drawstrings but he kept staring and the hostest at the front was just sitting there awkwardly. He told me "next time I come in just ask for me and I'll let you in...WHAT???!! The clientelle here wears goodies and baggy jeans wtf!!! I looked at the hostest and she just gave me an awkward look. the manager was awkward and he just changed the subject really quick and started talking about the current boxing match...ok whatever, I paid the $15 and walked in.

Guess what I saw when I walked in? NOT A FKN THING! Literally 3 customers and 1 dancer on stage with a fkn attitude. there were 2 other dancers sitting down with one of the customers. There was another customer who looked sketchy and wearing the hoody over his head. and you're worried about my pants? the tv screens were far off and kind of small but it was whatever. I bought my wackass dos equis for $7 and sat there until another dancer came up. the dancer came up, she was cute but looked very nervious like maybe she was new. she danced topless but she was wearing skin colored paint over her nipples. this is a pastie city. (side note, not all dancers where pasties or paint. some take their pasties off when doing dances. that's my experience in pasty city, not just here but in other places as well. Even some of the more "cleaner" clubs, girls have pulled their bottoms all the way down for the dance, happens more often than non. anyway, the dancer finished her routine and ran off to the back somewhere. the waitress I got a drink from came back around and asked if everything was ok, I and Just told her i didn't know it would be this slow. she said "oh it's early, it picks up after 11...well, it was 10 and I've been to some clubs around 8 on a weekend and it's busy. not this place.
