Weeknight at players
Tuesday night so not surprisingly pretty slow. Much smaller club overall but decent amount of open seating. Walk in and there’s a bar on the right with stools, then the largest stage towards the back right with surrounding seats, a smaller one back middle, and another along the left wall. Left ‘front’ corner looks to be the VIP area which is a group of larger couches and an island in front of them, it’s roped off but not an actually private room. Dancer said you had to get a bottle for VIP which starts at about $350 - didn’t bother. Overall drinks were pretty pricey but about average for a club. I’d say the dancers were fairly pushy to sell dances. Never got too bothered but a little uncomfortable having to say no multiple times and then giving them another no after ‘not even a tip?’ for a few words of conversation. Ended up spending most of the time with a dancer I liked, got a few dances here and there, and then chatted by the tables. Heavily Cuban/Spanish speaking dancers - as far as I know the only mainly English speaking girls were the bartender and her waitress/helper. I got some serious mileage out of google translate on my phone for anything beyond basic English - which ended up being a little frustrating with some girls but also kinda fun with the girl I liked. Dances are in a hallway off in the back right corner, there’s a row of single seats with dividers between them - so not totally private but also not just in the open. Solid dances but nothing great, girls didn’t mind being touched. Fair mix of body types, from a couple plus size to a few petite, short and tall, brown and white. Have to say though, I did enjoy a slower/relaxed atmosphere compared to some which are more party vibes, and talking to one girl in particular I liked and will probably be going back just for that.
