Day Shift at Gold

Been going there from time to time for a couple of years at night, but stopped in one afternoon about a month ago and have made three visits total-each visit was between 2-4 pm. Everything is the same except no cover charge during the day. I drink beer, but not sure if there is a happy hour during the day. I know they are $7 at night. Much more chill vibe during the day, with the music at a much lower volume. They mostly keep a dancer on the main stage, with some break songs from time to time.

Most of the customers sit at the bar, with a few customers sitting at the tables near the stage. Most dancers are pretty low energy. I can’t blame them as there are not a lot of guys tipping. A few guys go up and tip a little to their favorite dancer. They may go topless if they get enough tips. Most of the girls are Cubans in their 20s and 30s. A nice variety, I’d rate them a 6-8.

I’ve only chatted with 4-5 different girls in Spanish. I would imagine that a few of them speak at least some English.
