Terrible Tuesdays

I had finished running errands around Philadelphia and decided to roll the dice and give it another chance as I had received some intel on a specific poleslider who works during the Tuesday afternoon shift. I have described the ambiance before in a prior review, so I am not going to describe it again.

There is no cover during the day and you do have to empty your pockets before passing through the metal detector. Once I adjusted my eyes, I noticed why this place (despite its reputation and its appearance) does not have much foot traffic during the day.

I grabbed a seat at the back bar and ordered a water. I had just missed the lunch menu, but the waitress said that I could still order from there. I ordered a chicken sandwich with home fries and it was pretty good for only 9 dollars. That was the highlight of the visit.
