The Red Room is one of the basement clubs on the Block. A landing in the stairwell turns to right for the last few steps. Restrooms and dressing room are on your right. The long bar with an elevated stage is to your left. The far end of the bar forms a "U" with a couple of stools usually reserved for dancers having "drinks". There is a petition wall about 5 feet high at the end of the bar separating an area for more private drinks. The dancers flock to each new guy asking the same questions. The 6 - 8 dancers were an average mix with no stunning beauties or stomach turners. The bartender soon comes to ask about buying the lady a drink. She was not pushing and did not chase the girls away if you refused. I had a small drink with a couple of dancers before enjoying a larger drink with a little blond who made happy at the end.
