Tuesday Afternoon is beautiful
This from the last Tuesday in January. Backdrop: It started snowing Sunday. We had 15" by 9:00 when I did my driveway. I fired the snowblower back up at 4:00 a.m. Monday to clear the 3 foot high snowbank and 8 more inches of snow and went skiing in Vermont. Inversion caused warm air to overflow on top of the cold and the snow turned wet, froze and knocked out the upper lifts. Lines were insane so I tried to find an open strip club in New England. Every one was closed on Monday, so I went Tuesday, figuring that 2 closed days in a row meant a great crowd.
Never been more wrong. 7 dancers five customers. The club seems much larger when empty. Layout: Walk in and men's room is to the left down the hall, past the CR area. Low wall in front where available dancers congregate: empty. First rectangular bar with seats and tables in between: empty. Back bar, also square: 3 customers. Back stage: empty with 2 customers. Dancers sitting alone, no one approaching. No one out back in the smoking area.
God must like me because one of my favorite people on earth, not just a great dancer was on stage. We sat for close to 2 hours chatted and drank (me) and then went for a room. Chris gave extra time (always tip) and despite getting dances from her for close to a decade now, this was the best time ever.
