Good place to kill a couple of hours

I had a few hours to kill in between meetings on a Wednesday afternoon and stopped in Rick’s as it seems like one of the few clubs open mid-afternoon. It’s been described before but the midtown location is in a safe area. You walk in thru a long hallway with no cover during the afternoon. Coat check upon entering is free.

Upon entering, the club is one large room with a stage to your left and a bar to the back right. I wasn’t drinking so I ordered a club soda ($5) and was immediately approached by a completely “man-made” albeit older dancer (probably late 30s), she asked if I wanted company and I said no to which she replied, “you are missing out on the best thing here” and walked away. I was happy that she was wrong about that comment.

There were about 15 dancers and the quality was pretty good. A mix of white and Hispanic with 1 WOC. Dancers did 3 songs on stage and were topless for the last 2. Over the course of an hour, while sitting at the bar, I was approached by pretty much every dancer in the place.
