At around 4pm on Thursday, I came into Ricks cabaret. Some very good dances can be had on the main floor so that is what I tend to stick with. Dances on the main floor cost $20-$30 a song. Certain dancers will charge more than others. The best dances are with Zara. She only works dayshift till 7pm. She charges $20 but a tip on top of that is good to do. She was with another patron when I was there so I decided to try someone else. I didn't have to wait long because a new girl with tattoos and brown hair was right next to me. The allusion of instantly clicking with this person was very strong. I don't get this all the time when I go to Rick's. I am obviously aware that they are working but obviously phony and abrupt upsells of the VIP really take away from the experience. While I am sure that a VIP dance or semi private dance is quite nice, The prices for these dances have risen sharply compared to a couple years ago. $200 for 15 minutes and $500 for 30 minutes makes no sense. Overall I still really like this club but wonder why Semi private and Vip has gone up so sharply. It used to be $125 for 15 minutes. You can go to deja vu and still pay $100 for the same kind of dance.
