I finally made the trek to Atlantis in Chicago for my first time, armed with some prior knowledge from reading reviews here on TUSCL. I knew about the parking situation going in – there's a lot attendant who hits you with a mandatory $10 fee, even if you're parking your own vehicle. No big shock, but it's worth noting for newbies; just factor it into your budget.

I rolled in on a Saturday night around 10 PM, sticking around until about midnight. It was January, and Chicago was getting hammered with snow, which probably kept the crowds light at first. There weren't many patrons when I arrived (maybe a handful scattered around) but things picked up a bit as I was heading out.

The place felt spacious and underpopulated early on, which actually made for a chill vibe without feeling dead.
