Fools Gold

It was my second time going to the Gold Club and the second time feeling like I should have done anything else with my time. If you’re not into reading reviews, you can stop here and have a pretty good idea of what to expect. That being said, you’re here and you haven’t even gotten to the good part yet!

The club is located in an alley however, it is not hard to find. Upon entering, I walked through a secondary door and was greeted by the door guy. I arrived around 11pm so I was a bit surprised at the $15 cover but I paid and was in.The main room when you enter is pretty much the club, there is a small bar to the right, a small “stage” in the front and some private rooms in the back area, although they are not very private. I did not get a dance this time(the previous time wasn’t great) however they are small curtained booth-like areas where you pay a guy near the entrance of the hallway before entering.

Before sitting, I bought a $9 corona and was immediately approached by one of the girls. Most of the girls here were moderately unattractive for my taste but there were a few solid 7s. The one who approached me was nice at first but increasingly was pushy. I am usually pretty upfront about, “thanks, no thanks, here’s a tip” but that did not deter and two games of Uno later, I was being read a menu. If I remember correctly, 1 song fully nude was $60, 30 min was $200, other stuff was implied but it was not what I came for. I found the prices kinda outrageous so I declined repeatedly but they still insisted. The girl was nice and seemed upfront in what they offered but I just wasn’t interested.
