Early afternoon visit
First visit to the Corner. Arrived around 12:30 on a Thursday. Parking is in the back on the side street off of Waterloo. Rainy day, lot was a muddy mess. Entered through the back and noted a no smoking sign on the door as I entered. There was an older gentleman sitting outside the door smoking a cigar so at least someone was paying attention to the sign.
Entry directly to a room with a pool table. Through that room to the bar area. Bar is on the right, maybe 12 stools. Men’s room, private rooms and dancers dressing room to the left. 4 or 5 regulars at the bar chatting up the attractive bartender. I grabbed a seat at the far end of the bar and ordered a Miller Lite. Beer was under $5. Place has a dive bar feel but not too terrible. Don’t think they charged me a cover.
Approached as soon as I sat down by AA dancer, decent looking but I declined a dance as I wanted to settle in. She moved on to one of the regulars who took her back for a private. Only other dancer at this point was occupied with another customer. No stage dancing going on here. After 15-20 minutes the bartender came by to assure me that she had another girl in the back getting ready. Another 15-20 minutes and the other dancer did appear and headed straight over to offer a dance. Didn’t get her name but she was white girl , maybe mid thirties, slightly thick but fine for me. Table dances $10 and privates $25. Went straight for the private dance. Full menu offered in the back but did not partake in extras. Tipped another $20 and went on my way. All in all enjoyed my visit and would stop again if in the area.
