Friday night visit

Stopped in Playhouse around 6 PM on a Friday night on my way to New York. Easy to get to only about 5 minutes from turnpike exit on Rte 130. Plenty of parking.

When you enter there is a long rectangular bar that takes up most of the first floor. In the daytime you pay the bartender $10 cover which gets you 2 non-alcoholic drinks. It’s BYOB. I think at 7 maybe 8 they have a doorman who collects cover which is usually $15 at night.

There are 3 couch rooms on the first floor with bar and another I think 5 in the back up a short flight of about 4 stairs. Couch dances are $30 for 4 minutes.
