Thursday Chez review = Reliable club experience is almost guaranteed
I stopped by Chez Paree after a hockey game downtown Montreal. 5 minutes from the rink and 10 minutes from my hotel. Perfect location if you're staying downtown. A few parking garages close by and very limited street parking if you have a vehicle. A small line up to enter the club, waited maybe 10 minutes. I think they slow down clients to create a line to make it look like it’s busier than it is in the club after events. Lots of open seats once I got in. Cover was $10 and $5 to the door guy to lead you inside and ask where you want to sit, at the bar or a table. Door guys are dressed in suites to give it an upscale look. The bar is to the left as you enter, the stage is straight ahead. A dancer is always on stage. VIP is off to the left behind the bar.
Probably 20 girls working. Most looked early to mid 20’s. A few 30ish. Didn’t see any older ladies. All were in pretty good shape, no really big girls. 7-8 range. The same as my last visit but most of the girls who stopped to chat were Eastern European. About half spoke pretty good English and some spoke passable French. The French girls working all spoke very good English. No language issues at all.
Beer was $12 with a tip for a bottle. Not sure the price for mixed drinks. Dances are $20 for a standard dance in the back VIP area. Songs seemed to be shorter than I remember but I’d guess 3 minutes or so. I found they played a lot of rap or house style music in the VIP so all the songs seem to run together which makes keeping track of numbers difficult.
