Better than expected

I found myself in Ottawa in the middle of winter. I was staying in a downtown hotel so the only easy option was Bare Fax which was just a few blocks away.

It is easy to find in a bar district near the OTTAWA sign. You go in and immediately go upstairs and through a metal detector and past security. Mandatory coat check of $9 CDN but no other cover charge.

You enter a long rectangular club with a stage in the middle left and tables and chairs scattered about. There is a raised section to the right with more chairs, along with a large stairs that goes up to the next level which is where private dances are done.
