Set boundaries and enjoy Synn-ing
I had not been to a strip club in well over a decade. The last time I had gone to one was 14 years prior. I honestly hated the idea of wasting/throwing (literally) money away. Well being a gen Y kid and getting screwed over by the 08 crash really sucked. Made me really frugal. Having a decent career, not married, and no kids changes that.
First time I went was last year with friends to celebrate my birthday. One of them was even generous to pay for my VIP which I couldn't even afford when I was in college. I'll say this the strip club culture and mentality of the girl have changed a lot, or maybe I just wasn't aware back in the 2010s. We got there and pregamed in the parking lot across the street the Yoshinoya, before they started towing during the summer lol. When we went inside we grabbed seats in the front row, a few of my friends were throwing singles on stage for a while. Then they did a roll call. She was probably the 3rd or 5th girl in row call and she saw me eyeing her the entire time. Rookie mistake, take your time and see everyone, you just might miss out on someone else. But I wound up getting two $40 dances with that girl and then she started talking about going to the VIP. I enjoyed our conversation, she was dancing and being sensual. So here is where, in my opinion, the culture is different. Being offered extras was rare almost unheard of and really taboo when I used to go in the 2010s, then again maybe I was just young and naive. I had never been offered extras before. The girl offered me FS for $600, I turned down the offer, it was really tempting though. I tipped her $50 when our time finish. The dancer was really nice, she said that she'd gladly give me a dance again if I should ever return. When I got out, my friends were about to head out, it was still early in the night, probably around 11:00 -11:30 PM. They were upset because I had disappeared "for a long time". They asked me if I did anything, I told them no. Then we started talking about which girls we went with. My best friend and I had a laugh because we both have a type, and we both went with each other's type instead of our own. He then told me his dancer had offered to meet him at her place for $1000 and that she wanted to exchange contact info. I asked him what did he say? He told me he told her "No thanks, I got a girlfriend that does it for free." That had me dead, but good on him. We went back to our cars and had a few more drinks before we departed.
Anyway, while at work that week I kept thinking how much fun I did have. I asked my friends if they wanted to go again that upcoming Friday. They said no. One blew $800, the other had plans with his girlfriend, and the other one doesn't have means of transportation without his cousin. But man, did I have the itch. In the 2010s I would go with my brothers, cousins, and a different group of friends and we always talked about how weird it would be to just go alone. I didn't want to be weird... but I guess weirdness took over. So I went alone that night. I think I got there around 9 or 10 PM. As soon as I walked in through the curtain I saw the same girl I got the two $40 dances and VIP dance and she saw me and smiled. She came up to me made some small talk and asked me if I wanted to do a VIP. I told her if we could do a $40 first. She said yeah. So we did our $40 and then I told her I would probably get two VIPs with her. She thought I was going to get the whole hour, but I told her I wanted to break it up into two 30 minutes. She was cool with that. At the end of our first VIP she asked me if we could switch info, I was okay with it. She then told me that I should visit her at her other club because it's better than Synn. I told her I'd consider it. So I go back and sit on one of the chairs to let some time pass. An hour and a half or two hours must have passed, I didn't see her around for a while. When I finally did see her she told me she was doing a VIP and that she'd come back for me after. A few different girls approached me and were very blunt about going to the VIP to do extras, I only remember one told me she does FS for $400, but I rejected them because I was waiting. More than 30 minutes had passed and I was ready to leave. But before I did this other dancer came up to me. She talked to me for about 20 minutes. She was just really sweet. When she told me her name I realized it was the girl that my best friend had gotten a dance with the week prior. She then asked me if I wanted to get a dance and I told her that I was so sorry because I was waiting for someone. She didn't take it personal like some other dancers do. She told me goodnight and walked away. For whatever reason I got up and tapped her on the shoulder and told her "Can we do a $40?" She smiled and was ecstatic and said let's go. Well her lap dance was so sensual that I asked her to do a VIP. She got even more ecstatic. Once in the VIP she offered me liquor. I almost accidentally drank her entire mini bottle, I thought it was all for me lol. By the end of the dance she asked "You like to drink?" I said yeah. She then asked me if I'd ever want to meet up and grab a drink? I told her sure. So we exchanged info. Never got offered an extra from her. Which made me question the story.
