Not what it used to be

This place is a shell of what it once was. Located just South of Uptown, one would think that this club would be a thriving location. It is not that at all. Many of you who live in or frequent the Charlotte Area know that Uptown Cabaret was the premium "Uptown" Location prior to it's closing after the land was sold to Real Estate Investors.

Upon arriving at Leather and Lace South you will notice that the parking lot is very small and almost non existent. I'd say there are about 10-12 parking spots that are suppose to accommodate Dancers, Staff and Patrons. On a "busy " night you will have to park across the street with risk of Tow if you park in the wrong area lol.

Upon entering there is a $15 cover and you are required to show your ID before being buzzed into club. Once you enter the bar is to the right where drink prices are fair compared to other clubs here in Charlotte. $8 for a beer and about $12 for a cocktail.
