Lessons Learned
I was in Vegas for a long weekend with 3 other guys. One being my forever partner-in-crime and the other two being a couple buddies we just see every couple years or so. On this particular Thursday afternoon, the other two had their hearts set on finding a country bar to watch football, and that's not our preferred scene in Vegas. We opted for some late afternoon strip club action.
After spending at least 4 hours chilling at another club, where we enjoyed several beers and an edible or two, we were pretty amped and hungry. We left that club and over a quick dinner, we decided in our heightened states we would rather step up the physicality of the entertainment than go back to the casino. So we paid the check and drove (not the smartest idea) up to Chicas Bonita at about 10pm.
With now-full bellies and the 20 min drive, the buzz was dwindling and we wondered if this was such a great idea. Our thinking was that we know Chicas to be pretty crazy during the day, and wondered if that gets amplified at night? We decided that if the parking lot is jam-packed, we would bail and head back to the casinos instead of dealing with rowdy crowds. As we approached we made the right turn on the street before the club so we could hit the alley to park out back and lo-and-behold, there were a open spots! Once we organized our bankrolls (big bills in one pocket, tipping singles in another) we headed in and prepared for the assault. Initially everything seemed mostly the same as a daytime visit except the pat-down and cover, which I don't recall being very high.I did notice that, compared to mid-week dayshifts, the are to the immediate left of the entrance was a bit more crowded than I usually see. I think there was even a dancer on the mini stage. We were still met with a cadre of girls hanging by the door and several instantly approached and grabbed onto my arm (or more) as I made a beeline for the bar to order drinks.
