Glad to see a familiar place open again
It had been about 20 years since I'd been to this club -- or at least the club that used to be in this building. Back then, it was called Swede's. This is primarily of interest because it was virtually unchanged since the last time I was there.
I'd always been fond of Swede's, and was glad to see that there was a club there again, after of period of being closed. I enjoyed my inaugural visit to Leather and Lace. Just don't expect the Ritz. Fact is, it's a bit dark and "divey" -- pretty much like it was 20 years ago.
The place is divided into a "front" and "back" area. The front is essentially just the bar, with a couple tables I've never seen anyone sitting at. The back is the stage area. To go to the back, pay a $3 cover at the bar, along with your drink of choice. Mine was a $4 beer.
The the back room, there is a square stage along the left wall, with the ubiquitous pole in the middle of the stage. The stage was fairly low, with a wooden rail around it, but no seating. The rest of the room had a collection of tables and chairs.
On the January Thursday night I was there -- got there around 10 p.m. -- there was only two dancers. But the only other customers in the place were three hunters (I think). The dancers allowed some controlled touching with tips at the stage. One thing about having few dancers and few customers is the opportunity to actually get to know the dancers. I had a great time with an early-30s milf named Loretta. She was a curvy brunette -- all natural and nicely padded -- who seemed to enjoy laughing while she entertained, as well as while sitting and talking between stage sessions.
