The first time in a long time...

I started out at Bogart's around the corner but that place was kinda dead so I decided to check out Henry's for the first time in a long time. These two clubs are "sisters" owned by the same family and you can get a free pass to one after paying cover at the other.

A lot of things are basically that same here as at Bogart's. Decent parking, $5 cover, $7-10 for a drink. I will mention that as much grief as I've given Bogart's for being a dive, it's a palace compared to Henry's, which feels like an old garage with a couple of sheds bolted on to it.

There were maybe 8 ladies dancing and I was first approached by a cute brunette with braids. We chatted for a song or two before heading back to the VIP booths. You need to pay the DJ $10 for a wristband on your way back there. Booths are on the medium-small side with dilapidated seat cushions and a flimsy privacy curtain.
