A Quiet Sunday Evening

Was in Denver for the weekend after Christmas and decided to stop in Willies at 6:15pm (stayed until 8pm). Mid-sized parking lot. Clean and felt safe. There was a police car parked on the street nearby.

Had ID checked and paid the $3 cover (according to their website: $3 til 7pm, $10 from 7pm to 10pm, and $30 after that). Inside, the place was mid-sized, fairly high-end looking, with nice decor and furnishing and a nightclub vibe. Had 7 mid-sized hexagonal stages (all had a pole but 1) on the main floor, lit up w/ different color lights and they referred to them by those colors. Stages raised a couple feet with table ledges and chairs surrounding them. Very few tables on the main floor so seating are mostly at the stages.

There are 3 small bars: 1 at the entrance, 1 in the corner to the left as you enter, and 1 straight back, behind the dj booth, in what looks like a large VIP section (raised and gated off). A TV next to each bar showing sports. Only the corner bar was opened. 1 bartender and 1 waitress on duty. 3 other smaller VIP sections along the right wall. Had a small booth section near the corner bar (on the way to the restrooms) that had 2 small booth chairs, each with a small table with a pole. Couch dance section also in the back, next to the hallway to the restrooms. It was partitioned from the main floor by a glass wall/doors. Men’s room was mid-sized and clean. 6 urinals, 2 stalls, and 3 sinks. Very clean and did not see a bathroom troll.
