Crystal city Restaurant going downhill after Papermoon takeover

It’s been only 3 days since Papermoon took over the Crystal City restaurant. I was there Saturday evening. You can tell right away the club’s priority is private dances. Beer prices have gone up. Private dances are on par with Good guys. ($300 for 20 min)

Before the takeover there were 3 private rooms. Now there are more than 12. Half the smoking bar is now walled off to make room for a total of 3 private areas at the back of the room. Old tables are gone and replaced with small round tables cramped together in what’s left of the open space. Even the stage in the smoking room is smaller than before. They lined both sides of the main room with more private areas with cheep plywood walls.

Bartenders and servers are no longer allowed to make change for singles. You have to use change machines that keep 10% of all changed bills. Taking to the bartenders they say the new owners don’t want people directly tipping the girls outside of the stage or private rooms. They don’t want girls doing a tip walk, although most girls still did after finishing their dance. Bartenders also said the new owners made the rooms smaller because they expect most guests to be in their overpriced private rooms.
