On my last business trip to...

On my last business trip to Peoria, I visited Club Cabaret and had a really great time. I figured that this time around, I should check out Big Al's, since I had always heard about it since my college days in Macomb 20+ years ago. I arrived around 8pm on a Wednesday and it was fairly quiet except for a large group of women who looked like they were out for happy hour after work (kind of an unusual crowd for a strip club). There were about 5 girls working, who I would sum up as: 2 - kind of chubby, 1 - really hot, 1 - cute from 10 ft way, but a little rough up close and 1 - attractive, but not my type.

Things went down hill from there. The girls night out crowd left and shortly after the club started to fill up with men, including what appeared to be a group from Caterpillar entertaining some Japanese visitors (with lots of money to throw around). Soon most seats were filled, but no additional dancers showed up. I only had one dancer (one of the chubby ones) come by to talk to me. I wanted to run a tab (so I could expense drinks as dinner) but was told there was a $30 minimum on tabs.

I decided to cut my losses and headed across the river to Club Cabaret and once again, I had an amazing time. Next time, I'll stick to what I know is good.
