Now Old Dolphin

The former Gold Club has had an extensive remodel. The large, free and well lit parking lot hasn’t changed, nor has the exterior. The is an outside smoking tent in their enclosed courtyard.

The interior has been entirely redone, as detailed in my earlier report on this club. I’m still not sure if I like it yet, the bar is much too close to the front doors, and you feel the cold breeze coming in. Central stage is nice, but there are too few tables on the floor compared to before the remodel. Soft drinks are still $5, booze cost is unknown since I don’t drink. No lottery machines.

There was a much better dancer selection than my last visit, with one Asian dancer and the rest white. No fatties this time, but some real quality. Dance prices were quoted to me by a dancer as 50 for one song, 110 for 10 minutes, and 220 for 20. More time was a negotiable event. I had a 220 from a regular that was good mileage, but YMMV. Dances are in private booths with thick curtains.
