HiLiter Revisited

Weather has been sunny and perfect this month so went out for a relaxing Saturday afternoon visit to one of my favorite clubs. The club is located near the north central part of Phoenix in a decent part of town. I arrived around 12:30 PM, any earlier you will not be seeing any stage action. That's still a little early, the large, safe parking lot only had about 15 cars there, probably at least half belong to dancers.

No entrance fee but met at the front area by a bouncer or maitre-de or whatever they call themselves, I consider them one step up on the annoyance scale as the bathroom troll. Since it was still early I told him that I was going over to Rudy's Grill to eat. OK, I was "allowed" to seat myself over at the bar. The last 2 bar seats are reserved for VIOs or dancers or something. Rudy's Grill is pretty decent, someday there's heavy traffic from nearby workers getting carryout. Got a HiLiter burger $8 + tip and ordered a soft drink $5 + tip. I don't know alcohol prices but they are running 241 drinks in the afternoon. Good strategy to avoid the Cuban invasion while settling in.

Club is fairly large, runway stage directly in center, bar on right side with DJ booth and dancer's changing room door all the way in the back. Stage is single, spinning pole and very large stripper shoe chair in the back, still have never seen it used, would be interesting for one of the non-pole trick sensual dancers to use as a prop. Tables with roller chairs are arranged at the front if the club and both sides if the stage. VIP areas are to the immediate left. Farther along the left is a non used small stage, "Little Havana", premium seating along the mirrored wall and another dancer entrance. Also in the back left is the troll guarded bathroom, for a tip you can get a paper towel or select from his small convience store of gum, mints, colognes etc. Don't know about anyone else but nothing found in a strip club bathroom is going to end up in my mouth...nothing. Always toss him a few bucks anyway just because but wish he at least was responsible to keep the place clean instead of just parking his butt in the corner.
