Friday nights are better than Saturday nights

I'm a longtime regular at Cadillac Lounge in Providence. Recently I switched to visiting on Friday nights instead of my usual Saturday nights because IMHO the talent is better and the crowd is not as rowdy. Here's more details...

Location and Parking:

Cadillac is located in a commercial area sandwiched between Route 146, the railroad tracks and Home Depot. It's a short easy drive to/from I-95 and the Route 146 ramp is across the street. But there are a bunch of homeless beggars at almost every stoplight in the area and sometimes at the entrance to the club's parking lot. I had one of those crazy fuckers try to jump on the hood of my car when I was leaving the club this past summer! Yikes! Anyway the parking lot is large and split into two areas. The area off to the left running along the street has plenty of space. Since Covid it's rarely been more than half full. Usually there's a security guy sitting in a car at the far end keeping an eye on things especially later at night. The area on the right behind the club is usually full with most spaces reserved for strippers. Valet parking is apparently no longer available.
