Old Glory Daze
I decided to check out Old Glory Daze on a Friday afternoon. The place is basically a dive bar with dancers. You enter through a side door from the parking lot, and the bar runs along the back wall. There are a couple of tables, a dancer pole that no one ever seems to use, and a pool table that gets quite a bit of action. There are also two VIP areas—one is a small curtained-off cubicle, and the other is a room that doubles as a storage area.
Sara was bartending that day and not dancing, which was a bit of a letdown since she can be a lot of fun. There were about six dancers working, a mix of Black and white women. Most weren’t really my type, but I did end up getting dances from Hennessey. She’s short, has a nice body, and is a real sweetheart.
Dances are $5 or $10 at the bar, or $20–$25 in the VIP. I opted for a $30-per-song upgrade in VIP and ended up doing two songs, giving her $80 total. Beer prices are around $3, and there’s no cover.
