Watered down experience
It had been long enough that I forgot my last review of this place 5 months ago. Not until I paid my cover and saw the $50 lap dance chairs lining the wall did I remember my previous experience. But because I'm a chump I bought a dance anyway.
I was free on a Sunday evening around 6:00. I had gone to Pandora's and thanks to it being Happy Hour I only spent $5 and didn't even buy the "minimum drink". Pandy's had one stage running but it was the smaller stage that's harder to see. I saw 1 or 2 on stage and looked around at what else was available and decided to try my luck at Rick's, remembering that I used to like it.
So I got to Rick's and there weren't many cars in the parking lot. I chilled in my car for a few minutes and the only activity I saw was one guy come out of the club. So then I decided to go in and pay the $17 cover. No other customers there. Two girls total, one of whom, Brea(?), greets me at the entrance to the main area. We sit. I can't use my standard line of "let me take in a few stage shows first" because I'm the only one there and that makes it weird no matter what. So I ask what the options are and she points to the side booths where we can have one open-area dance for $50 or go to the back (the old lap dance area) for 3/$150.
