So Much Better than It Used to Be!

Alright then. After a lousy visit at Carnival across the river, I headed to the Philly side. Venus Video is an adult bookstore with booth girls on the side. Essentially the same set up as Carnival, though the milage here is lower.

There's two entrances -- one through the store and one directly to the booth girls. I remember a passage between them from long ago but didn't look this time. You have to enter the parking lot from Passyunk Ave -- the 63rd St. gate is chained off. Pulled in. A dude in an SUV pulled in just before me. A large woman in a chador got out and first walked to the peep show entrance, came out and walked into the adult store entrance. I backed my car into a parking space. I guess I disturbed the guy next to me because he pulled out, banged a u-ey in the parking lot, flippled me off and headed out to the street.

So I went in. My expections were something less than zero. This place used to be awful. I was doing my civic duty to this community to investigate.
