Not so Dirty T

Passed through Tucson for a mini vacation recently and visited Curves a couple times. This review will cover both visits, one from the afternoon and one in the evening. You would think that the club would be a little bigger based on the size of the building from the outside but once inside the main stage and bar area isn't huge. There are three different stages and during both visits the main stage was always occupied and the side stages were occasionally utilized. You walk in and are herded into the corral that leads to the the cash register/hostess. In the afternoon there was no cover and at night it was 5 bucks. You have to wait for a meat head to seat you or walk you to the bar. He'll probably loiter around hoping for a tip for this indispensable service. The waitresses and bar tenders were good looking as has been noted elsewhere. I ordered beers which were either 6 or 9 dollars depending on the flavor and there was also a drink special of Tito's or Patron for 6 dollars.

The girls varied but most were pretty good looking. I'd say most ran in the 6-8 range. The girls were nice and a few came up and made small talk before starting in with their sales pitch. Some were clear hustlers, spoke with a strong accent and couldn't muster much beyond, "You want dance?" There were a few others that seemed more like local girls that were pleasant to talk to and gave consistent dance pricing. The consensus seems to be that floor dances are $15 but I was often quoted $20 and dances in the VIP are $30, $40 or 3 for $100 depending on the dancer. The floor dances were fairly tame but nothing to complain about for $15. The VIP dances varied really widely. One dancer (I can't remember her name) basically gave me an air dance in the VIP and I couldn't be done with her faster. She was white, brunette, a little trashy looking, wider hips, and an ample ass with glasses. Most of the other dances were pretty decent. None of them blew my mind and none of them drifted into extras territory. I didn't feel like I was throwing my money away though with anyone except the thick brunette.

Overall I had a good time on both visits and I'd go back but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for this place. I do think this is probably the best place in Tucson but there are better options up the road in Phoenix. I also tried Raiders Reef and this place was better. Curves has a locals kind of vibe to it. The girls were a little surprised to find out I was just passing through and many of the girls seemed to have their favorites. I imagine if you establish yourself a bit the quality goes up here.
