Upped their game but not the same.

I was in Jax for work and decided to stop by. Pretty sure Sins was the first SC I ever went to, maybe 20 years ago. Back then the VIP was where the pool table is now. I've been back a few times since then, and it was always good, but times have changed. This visit was a little disappointing.

Club layout is the same, walk in the front, pay cover ($13) and walk into the club. Center stage will be right in front of you, seating to the right, bar and pool table to the left. VIP is down the hallway past the bar. It's a little run down, and a pretty small place overall. You have to buy a drink, I think a coke is like $6.

It is full nude, you have to tip the dancers $5 on stage for them to strip, otherwise they dance in a bikini/lingerie etc. Not bad, but if you're the only guy sitting at the stage and you're trying to have a good time, $5/dance adds up quick. Two VIP areas, one is $30/dance, the other $50. Most dancers do topless only for $30. I didn't see any dancers doing lap dances in the general area, so not sure if that's offered. The VIP definitely seemed more tame than in the past. Honestly I think the prices are a little high and I was a little disappointed. Way back in the day it was buy 2 get 1 free and they were $25. They kept creeping up higher and higher and I think they overshot the value curve about $10 ago.
